Periodontitis can be treated and Dr. Piasente with the hygienists specialised in periodontology saved me. I was literally in crisis because some of my teeth, in particular the incisor, were moving and I had a terrible fear of losing them all. My periodontitis was at an advanced stage and the first thing Dr. Piasente said to me was: ‘we need to work on the problem together, step by step.’ Together because he put all his knowledge into it and worked from the medical side, while I had to change some habits that were harmful for periodontitis.
